Kayode Olaniyan at Africa’s Ethical Compliance Conference

Kayode Olaniyan, representing Avant-Garde and Princip Consult, joined an elite panel at the Africa’s Ethical Compliance Future Conference held on May 21, 2026, at Idera Hall, Radisson Blu, Victoria Island, Lagos. The conference, convened by CCC Consult Group and Graypatch Advisory Limited, aimed to bring together regulatory and corporate leaders in the compliance profession to examine how African organizations can build a strong ethical culture and global trust governance framework.

Olaniyan was one of three panelists in a session moderated by Toyosi Egunjobi, alongside Soji Apampa and Ayokunl Ayoko. He emphasized the need for organizations to move beyond rhetoric and translate ethical commitments into actionable audits.

He pointed out the resource gap and leadership failures that hinder organizational culture and noted that ethical governance should trickle down to every member of an organization. Olaniyan also discussed practical models in the telecom sector, such as urban mining and battery recycling, advocating for organizations to lead by example rather than waiting for regulatory mandates.
