Nigeria Boosts Aviation Sector Ahead of Hosting ACI-Africa Conference in 2026

The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) is strengthening its international standing as Nigeria gears up to host the ACI-Africa Conference in October 2026. The Secretary-General of Airport Council International (ACI) Africa, Ali Tounsi, recently visited Nigeria to evaluate the nation's preparedness.

The event is anticipated to attract global aviation leaders and investors, with high-level FAAN delegation led by Olubunmi Kuku engaging in discussions with the Ministry of Aviation to review progress and logistics planning.
