Axxela Limited Releases 2025 Sustainability Report

Axxela Limited, a leading gas and power portfolio company in sub-Saharan Africa, published its 2025 Sustainability Report, themed “Enabling Access, Deepening Impact.” The report details the company’s environmental, social, and governance performance, including a 39km expansion of its gas pipeline network across Lagos, Ogun, and Rivers states. Axxela recorded zero fatalities and achieved 9.6 million Lost Time Injury (LTI) free man-hours.

The company also expanded its customer portfolio by connecting new industrial and commercial clients. Significant milestones include obtaining Great Place to Work certification and a Gold Medal rating in the EcoVadis Sustainability Assessment, placing Axxela among the top 5% of assessed companies globally.

Moshood Olajide, Group Chief Executive Officer of Axxela, stated that the company’s performance reflects its commitment to responsible growth and long-term value creation, emphasizing the importance of expanding domestic gas utilization. The report outlines Axxela's environmental management strategies and compliance measures, prepared in line with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards.
