Ayra Starr is in full preparation mode for the 2026 Grammy Awards, having made a striking appearance at significant pre-Grammy events. At the Recording Academy's MusiCares gala, which honored Mariah Carey as Person of the Year, Ayra donned a custom gown designed by Nicola Bacchilega.

The gown featured a champagne-toned satin fabric with a structured corset bodice and a floor-length skirt with a soft train, embodying an old Hollywood glamour style. She completed her look with glossy waves and subtle curls, accessorized with a diamond stud ring and bracelet, and opted for nude-toned makeup.

Following this, she attended Spotify's Best New Artist party, where she switched to a bolder look, wearing a sheer black lace bodysuit that accentuated her waist and layered with a silver necklace and statement drop earrings. Ayra is set to compete for Best African Music Performer at the Grammys, with her hit "Gimm" featuring Wizkid, against notable artists including Burna Boy, Davido, Omah Lay, Tyla, and Eddi Kenz.
