Bandit Leader Accuses Former Governors of Sponsoring Insecurity in Northern Nigeria

Bello Turji, a notorious bandit leader, accuses two former governors of northern Nigeria of sponsoring insecurity in the region, blaming past political leadership for exacerbating ethnic tensions and violence. Turji denies receiving money or material benefits during peace negotiations and accuses a former peace negotiator, Musa Kamarawa, of spreading falsehoods.

He further accuses former governors of supporting a vigilante group known as Yan Banga, which allegedly targets Fulani communities. Efforts to reach the two former governors for their response have been ongoing.
