Zamfara PDP Dismisses APC's Banditry Allegations Against Governor Lawal, Calls Claims Baseless

The Zamfara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has refuted allegations by the All Progressives Congress (APC) that Governor Dauda Lawal is sponsoring banditry. The PDP's Publicity Secretary, Haliru Andi, called the claims baseless and accused the APC of presiding over the worst period of banditry in Zamfara.

Andi alleged that the former Governor Bello Matawalle diverted security funds, while the APC leader openly engaged with bandits. Governor Lawal's administration has been working to rebuild confidence and enhance security measures in the state.

The PDP urged residents to ignore the APC's accusations and reiterated the governor's commitment to ending banditry in Zamfara.
