Gunmen Kidnap Two Chinese Nationals in Kwara State Construction Site

Gunmen kidnapped two Chinese nationals working on a major road construction project in Kwara State, Nigeria. The incident occurred at the Bode Saadu-Kaiama-Kosubosu road project site in Ejidongari, Moro Local Government Area.

The heavily armed attackers fired multiple rounds of gunfire, causing workers to flee for safety. Adekimi Ojo, the Kwara State Commissioner of Police, confirmed the abduction but did not provide further details.

This abduction adds to the growing insecurity in the state, following recent violent incidents and kidnappings. The Nigerian Air Force has been deployed to conduct aerial surveillance and support ground troops in combating criminal groups.
