Bandits Kill 1, Abduct Many in Katsina Despite Peace Deals - Residents Terrified

Bandits have killed one person and abducted several individuals in Katsina, despite the presence of peace deals in the area. The attack, which occurred in Musawa, has left residents terrified and some wounded individuals hospitalized.

The Chairman of Musawa Local Council, Aliyu Idri, confirmed the incident, which also involved infiltrators from Zamfara state. Nasiru Mu'azu Danmusa, the Katsina State Commissioner for Intern Security and Home Affairs, highlighted the pockets of attacks, emphasizing the need for continued peace efforts.

The community is urging authorities to take action to ensure the safety of residents.
