Bandits Killed, Vigilante Injured in Kwara Attack; Victims Rescued Safely

In Kwara State, bandits were killed and a vigilante member injured during a recent attack near Gbugbu. The armed men attempted to abduct two women but were repelled by local vigilantes, resulting in a gun battle that left two attackers dead.

The vigilante commander, Gina Gana, confirmed the incident and stated that two vigilante members sustained gunshot injuries. The kidnapped victims were rescued unharmed, and security operations have been intensified in the area to ensure safety.

Community leaders commended the swift response of the vigilantes and security operatives in restoring normalcy.
