Senator Barau Vows Northern Nigeria's Support for Tinubu in 2027 General Election

Senator Jibrin Barau, Deputy President of the Senate, pledged that the people of Kano State and the entire northern Nigeria region would reciprocate President Bola Tinubu's kindness and support in the 2027 general election. Barau made this commitment during the launch of an annual undergraduate scholarship program at the newly renamed Yusuf Maitama Sule Federal University of Education in Kano.

The event was attended by top political and academic figures, including Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Rt Hon Yusuf Abdullahi, and others. Barau expressed deep appreciation for Tinubu's developmental initiatives in the North, particularly the approval to upgrade the institution to a university after a decade-long request.

He praised Tinubu's love for Kano, the North, and Nigeria.
