Barnsley manager Conor Hourihane has refuted rumors of Kelechi Nwakali being sacked, clarifying in an interview with BBC Radio that the Super Eagles midfielder is still under contract with the club until June 30, 2027. Despite Nwakali's absence from competitive fixtures this summer, Hourihane emphasized that there has been no disciplinary breach leading to his potential departure.
