APC Announces Schedule for 2026 Osun Governorship Election

The APC has unveiled the timetable for the 2026 Osun State governorship election, with activities set to commence from October 3, 2025. Key dates include the start of membership registration, nomination form sales, screening of aspirants, primary election on December 13, 2025, and campaign kick-off on March 11, 2026.

The nomination form for governorship aspirants costs N40 million, with a total of N50 million required. Female aspirants and persons with disabilities can obtain the express interest form for free.

The final list of candidates will be submitted to the National Working Committee by January 22, 2026, and uploaded to the INEC portal by February 11, 2026.
