Bauchi Governor Inaugurates Inter-Faith Committee for Peace and Tolerance

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi State inaugurated an inter-faith committee for Tafawa Balewa and Bogoro LGAs to promote peaceful religious and ethnic tolerance. The committee comprises Imams and clergymen tasked with sensitizing citizens on the importance of harmony and peaceful coexistence.

The governor emphasized the need to consolidate peace in the areas threatened by unpatriotic elements. By leveraging the influence of religious leaders, the state aims to foster interfaith dialogue and resolve conflicts through peaceful means.
