Bauchi Speaker Urges Youth Parlamentarians To Embrace Selfless Service

Bauchi State House Assembly Speaker, Hon Abubakar Suleiman, urged members of the Bauchi State Youth Parliament to embrace selfless service during an induction workshop at Yankari Game Reserve. The workshop, attended by youth parliamentarians representing different constituencies, aimed to train them in legislative processes, ethics, and effective service delivery.

Speaker Suleiman commended the smooth transition of the new parliamentarians and emphasized the importance of the forum in bringing together legislators, jurists, and stakeholders to shape the future of the state. He thanked Governor Bala Mohammed for providing resources and enabling the event.

State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon Adamu Babayo Gabarin, encouraged the youth to pursue education, acquire skills, and engage in entrepreneurship. The event was also praised by Hon Mohammed Idris Musa of the Bauchi Youth Parliament and Sarkin Yalwan Duguri Alh Ibrahim Baba for its historic nature and urged participants to maximize the opportunity.
