Bayelsa Queens to Face Edo Queens in Pre-Season Football Tournament Semi-Final

The Nigerian Women Football League (NWFL) champions, Bayelsa Queens, are set to face Edo Queens in the semi-final of the Governor Douye Diri Female Pre-Season Football Tournament in Yenagoa. The tournament has seen competitive matches with Bayelsa Queens finishing top of their group and Edo Queens finishing second in theirs.

The semi-final fixtures will take place on October 25, 2025, at the Samson Siasia Stadium, with the grand final scheduled for October 26, 2025.
