Following her eviction from the Big Brother Naija House, Mercedes, whose real name is Ijeoma Emi, clarified her relationship with fellow housemate Oyin. She stated, “I don’t have a relationship with Oyin.

She is a friend to my friend. We are not friends.

I don’t know why people thought we had a friendship. There was none.” Mercedes also dismissed any notions that external factors negatively impacted her time in the house, describing her participation as a divine alignment and highlighting her spirituality with a rosary on her wrist.

Additionally, Martins, who was evicted alongside Mercedes, shared that his experience in the Big Brother house taught him empathy, stating, “I see things differently.” He acknowledged the game aspect but emphasized the importance of giving people grace and being open-minded.
