BBNaija Season 11 to Feature ₦160 Million Grand Prize

MultiChoice Nigeria has announced that Big Brother Naija Season 11 will premiere on Sunday, July 26, 2026, featuring a grand prize of ₦160 million, which includes ₦100 million in cash and an SUV. This prize is the largest in the show's history since its inception in Nigeria in 2006, reflecting the franchise's growth over two decades.

The first winner, Katung Aduwak, received a prize of $100,000. The show went on an 11-year hiatus before returning in 2017, with each subsequent season increasing the prize money.

Efe Ejeba won ₦25 million in Season 2 (2017), followed by Miracle Igbokwe with ₦45 million in Season 3 (2018). Mercy Eke became the first female winner in 2019, taking home ₦60 million.

Olamilekan “Laycon” Agbeleshe won ₦85 million in 2020, and Hazel “Whitemoney” Onou received ₦90 million in 2021. Josephina “Phyna” Otabor won ₦100 million in 2022, while Ilebaye Odiniya claimed ₦120 million in 2023.

The prize structure has evolved significantly, showcasing the show's impact on contestants' lives.
