Bendel Insurance Coach Suspended Over Poor Performance

Bendel Insurance Football Club's Head Coach, Greg Ikhenoba, has been suspended by the Edo State Sports Commission due to poor performance, effective October 6, 2025. Executive Chairman, Hon Amadin Desmond Enabulele, approved the suspension following a string of disappointing results, including a home loss to Nasarawa United.

Baldwin Bazuaye will take over as the interim head coach. The decision was made to revamp the team's performance in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Enabulele directed Bazuaye to lead the technical crew until further notice to steer the club in a new direction.
