Bernard Doro Assumes Office as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs in Nigeria

Bernard Doro has officially taken office as the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction in Nigeria, succeeding Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda.

Appointed by President Bola Tinubu, Doro is the fourth person to lead the ministry. During his maiden address, Doro emphasized collaboration within the ministry to achieve the administration's goal of reducing poverty.

He aims to prioritize programs to lift 60% of Nigerians out of multidimensional poverty. Doro's appointment signifies a commitment to President Tinubu's poverty reduction agenda.
