Besiktas Eyes Arokodare for Summer Transfer Move

Besiktas is reportedly planning to reunite Nigerian forward Arokodare with his former Genk teammate, Oh Hyeon-gyu, as part of an ambitious summer transfer strategy. Arokodare, who left Belgium for Wolverhampton last summer in a deal worth £26 million, has had a challenging debut season in England, scoring six goals and providing two assists in 32 appearances.

Wolverhampton is struggling in the Premier League, currently positioned at the bottom with only 17 points from 31 games, and is expected to confirm relegation to the Championship soon. Besiktas is interested in acquiring Arokodare, with Turkish outlets indicating they are leading the chase.

However, the financial aspects of the deal present significant challenges, as Arokodare is valued at £22 million by Transfermarkt. Besiktas may pursue a loan deal instead.

Additionally, Fenerbahce is reportedly monitoring Arokodare's situation as they look to bolster their attacking options for the next season.
