Awka Community Criticizes Governor Soludo Over Chieftaincy Title Interference

The Awka community has condemned Anambra State Governor Soludo for allegedly interfering in the conferment of a chieftaincy title on Bianca Ojukwu, widow of late Igbo leader Odumegwu Ojukwu. The community rejects the state government's involvement, stating that such actions undermine their sovereignty and traditional institutions.

The title was bestowed by Dr. Austin Chukwuezugo Ndigwe, the traditional ruler of Awka.
