Blessing CEO Under Investigation for False Cancer Claims

Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, is facing a probe initiated by the Nigerian Cancer Society (NCS) over allegations of making false cancer claims on social media. Bashir Moham, the NCS Director of Public Issues, issued a statement on Tuesday in Abuja, expressing concerns that Okoro may have misrepresented her health condition to solicit donations from the public.

Reports suggest that her appeal resulted in significant contributions, raising doubts about the authenticity of such claims and prompting widespread reactions, including calls for refunds of donations.
