Actress Eniola Ajao Exposes Blogger's Defamation Plot, Pursues Legal Action

Actress and filmmaker Eniola Ajao exposed a blogger, Adabasioni Oluwafemi Aseoro, for manipulating a video to damage her reputation, leading to online ridicule and cyberbullying. Ajao pursued legal action against the blogger under the Nigerian Cybercrime Act for criminal defamation.

The controversy began when the blogger allegedly edited a video from a burial attended by Ajao, creating a false narrative that subjected her to online trolling. After being arrested and charged, the blogger issued an apology and retracted the defamatory content.
