Senator Ndume Condemns Boko Haram Attacks in Borno, Urges Government to Strengthen Security

Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume, representing Borno South, condemned the recent Boko Haram attacks in Borno State that resulted in the killing of 63 individuals, including soldiers, an immigration officer, and civilians. The attacks in Darajamal village and Monguno Local Government Area left many dead and others abducted.

Ndume expressed shock at the killings and sympathized with the families of the victims. He called on the Federal Government to enhance security measures by deploying drones, attack helicopters, and modern equipment.

Ndume also advocated for the arming of community defense groups to support military operations and urged residents to collaborate with security agencies by sharing intelligence on terrorist activities.
