Nigerian Striker Victor Boniface Joins Werder Bremen on Loan from Leverkusen

Nigerian striker Victor Boniface has joined Werder Bremen on loan from Bayer Leverkusen after unsuccessful transfer negotiations this summer. Boniface, who had a remarkable season with Leverkusen, contributing 14 goals and nine assists in 23 league appearances, will provide crucial attacking quality to Bremen.

Despite failed moves to Al Nassr and AC Milan earlier this year, Leverkusen agreed to the loan deal. Bremen's manager, Horst Steffen, expressed confidence in Boniface's abilities.

The striker becomes the latest player to depart Leverkusen in this transfer window, seeking more playing time at Bremen to further establish himself in the Bundesliga.
