Bournemouth's Alex Scott Rejects Contract Amid Interest

Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott has rejected a new contract offer as interest grows from rival Premier League clubs in the England Under-21 international. The club prioritized securing Scott's future but has not reached an agreement, with Scott's current deal lasting two more years after joining from Bristol City.

Bournemouth has publicly stated that Scott is not for sale, despite his rejection of the contract offer that had been on the table for at least two months. The club has consistently communicated to both Scott and interested clubs that he will remain with them, even at his current contract terms.

They have also reportedly turned down an approach for Scott, maintaining a valuation of £80 million. Bournemouth is under no pressure to sell, having qualified for the Europa League and generated significant income through previous player sales.

The club has adopted a similar stance regarding other players, including forward Junior Kroupi and Brazil international Rayan.
