Ancelotti Extends Brazil Coaching Contract to 2030

Carlo Ancelotti will remain the coach of Brazil's national football team until 2030, as confirmed by a statement from the Brazil Football Federation (CBF) on Thursday. This contract renewal follows a vote of confidence in Ancelotti's leadership, which has seen the five-time World Cup champions qualify for the next month's World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Ancelotti, who took over as Brazil's coach last year, expressed his desire for victory and emphasized the importance of his work with the CBF president, Samir Xaud, to maintain Brazil's status at the highest level of world football. Ancelotti is expected to announce the final squad for the tournament on May 18.

Brazil will play a warm-up match against Panama at the Maracanã Stadium on May 31, and the team will be based in New Jersey during the World Cup, facing Morocco, Scotland, and Haiti in Group C.
