Lagos Govt Re-Arraigns Evans for Murder of Police Officers in High Court

The Lagos State Government has re-arraigned the convicted billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, popularly known as Evans, along with his co-defendant Joseph Emeka, in Lagos High Court sitting in Ikeja on fresh charges bordering on murder. The duo pleaded not guilty to the five-count charges of murder, attempted murder, conspiracy to commit kidnap.

Evans, who is already facing multiple criminal trials for kidnapping and murder, has been convicted in two separate cases. The details of the new case are expected to unfold during the trial.
