Aisha Buhari and Family Visit Atiku in Saudi Arabia, Details Emerge

Aisha Buhari, daughter Hanan, and other family members recently visited former Vice President Atiku Abubakar in Saudi Arabia. The visit, which coincided with the lesser Hajj, came months after the death of Muhammadu Buhari.

Atiku, a leader of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition, condemned the Senate's rejection of election results, describing it as an assault on electoral transparency that could weaken public trust in Nigeria's democracy. He urged Nigerian civil society groups, the media, and the international community to demand reforms ahead of the 2027 elections.
