Atiku Pledges Support for ADC Presidential Candidate

Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice President of Nigeria, has expressed his commitment to support whoever emerges as the presidential candidate for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the upcoming 2027 elections. He addressed concerns regarding the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) halting further communication with the ADC, which the party's leadership has rejected, accusing INEC of misinterpreting a court ruling.

Atiku emphasized the ADC's appeal to youth and women, stating that the party is focused on creating opportunities for these demographics. He also highlighted the worsening economic and security conditions in Nigeria, attributing rising insecurity, particularly in Northern Nigeria, to youth unemployment and lack of access to education.

Atiku expressed confidence that Nigerians are ready for change and are prepared to push for it, citing the need for better governance and opportunities for the younger generation.
