Burkina Faso Frees 11 Nigerian Air Force Pilots After Diplomatic Intervention

Burkina Faso has released 11 Nigerian Air Force pilots and crew members following the intervention of the Nigerian government. The release came after high-level diplomatic efforts led by Nigerian Foreign Affairs Minister Yusuf Tuggar in Ouagadougou.

The Nigerian delegation engaged with Burkina Faso's President Ibrahim Traoré and senior officials to resolve the matter peacefully through dialogue. This move aims to de-escalate tensions and strengthen mutual understanding between the two West African nations, emphasizing the commitment to regional security cooperation.
