Enugu Governor Peter Mbah Set to Join APC Amid PDP Crisis

Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah is reportedly set to defect from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), amidst deepening crisis within the PDP. Multiple reliable sources have confirmed the impending move, citing the governor's alignment with the APC due to the persistent crisis within the PDP.

Political analysts view Mbah's defection as part of a broader realignment among southern governors. Reports suggest that even members of the Enugu State House of Assembly have been approached to join the governor in defecting to the APC.

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC is said to be working on dissolving the current Enugu leadership structure to accommodate Mbah's defection.
