Justice Omotosho Removes Nnamdi Kanu from Courtroom Amid Disruption

Justice Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja ordered security agents to remove Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), from the courtroom for repeatedly disrupting proceedings. Kanu insisted that judgment should not be delivered on the terrorism charges brought against him by the federal government.

The court temporarily halted the proceedings to enable security operations. Kanu's request for the case to be referred to the Court of Appeal was dismissed.

The trial was further delayed as Kanu refused to allow the judge to read the judgment without admitting written addresses.
