DSS Fires 115 Personnel Amid Security Concerns

The Department of State Services (DSS) in Nigeria has fired 115 personnel as part of an ongoing reform process, with photos of the dismissed employees circulating online. The DSS, a security agency responsible for counterintelligence, economic intelligence, and counterterrorism, operates under the Office of the National Security Adviser (NSA) in Abuja.

The dismissals come amidst security concerns following threats from US President Donald Trump against Nigerian Islamic terrorists. The agency has vowed to continue disrupting threats to national peace.
