Breaking: Mother of APC National Chairman is Dead, Details Emerge

The mother of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor, has passed away. Mama Lydia Yilwatda's death was confirmed in a statement by the party's acting spokesperson in Plateau state, Shittu Bamaiyi.

The news was received with shock and sadness by the party. Mama Lydia was described as a devoted Christian and a virtuous leader within the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN).

The party expressed solidarity with Professor Yilwatda during this period of mourning. Mama Lydia's greatest legacy was seen as her value and accomplishments as a mother.

Prior to this, a prominent northern business mogul and elder statesman also passed away. Ibrahim, who played a key role in the formation of the ruling party in the Second Republic, was remembered for his contributions to Nigerian sports as well.
