Osun Governor Adeleke Defects to Accord Party Amid PDP Crisis

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has officially joined the Accord Party after resigning from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) due to internal crises within the party. In a letter addressed to the PDP chairman of Ward 2 in Sagba Abogund, Adeleke cited the current leadership crisis at the national level as a reason for his defection.

Adeleke expressed gratitude to the PDP for the opportunities given to him, including serving as a senator and governor. The move comes amidst political realignments in the state.
