Tinubu Urges Senate and Reps to Establish State Police Amid Rising Insecurity

Former Lagos State Governor, Tinubu, urges the Senate and Reps to prioritize establishing state police to combat the escalating insecurity in Nigeria. This call comes amidst a wave of banditry and kidnappings across the country, including recent incidents in Niger, Kebbi, and Kwara states.

Additionally, the President plans to recruit 20,000 new personnel for the police force and deploy forest guards to tackle terrorism and banditry.
