Tinubu Postpones G20 Trip Over Security Concerns in Kebbi and Kwara States

Nigerian politician Bola Ahmed Tinubu postponed his G20 trip to South Africa and Angola following security breaches in Kebbi and Kwara states. Tinubu expressed deep concern over the abduction of 24 schoolgirls in Kebbi and an armed attack on a church in Kwara.

He ordered the deployment of additional security personnel to address the crises. Vice President Kashim Shettima was sent to Kebbi for intelligence updates.

Tinubu reaffirmed the need to rescue the abducted schoolgirls and ensure their safe return.
