BREAKING: Tinubu Under Pressure To Declare State Of Emergency In Zamfara, Katsina

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has condemned the recent massacre in Malumfashi, Katsina State, where gunmen killed dozens of worshippers and villagers. The party has linked the killings to a wider wave of terror sweeping through Katsina and Zamfara States, with a reported 140 people murdered in the last two months alone.

The ADC has accused President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of neglecting urgent security concerns and has demanded the immediate declaration of a State of Emergency in the troubled states. The party also criticized the President for failing to console the victims' families and reassure citizens, emphasizing the need for a complete overhaul of Nigeria's security framework.

The ADC has called out the ruling APC and the opposition PDP for their lack of action in the face of escalating violence.
