Kano State Governor Hires 2000 Teachers to Boost Education Sector

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has announced the recruitment of over 2000 teachers into the state civil service as part of the administration's commitment to improving the education sector. The newly employed teachers will be permanent civil servants with pensionable status, emphasizing the importance of education in the state's development.

Governor Yusuf highlighted the ongoing reforms in education, including the construction of new schools, renovation of existing ones, and the purchase of learning materials. This move is aimed at enhancing the quality of education and achieving the desired teacher-pupil ratio in schools across the 44 local government councils of Kano State.
