BUA Chairman Predicts Naira Recovery to N1,300/$ by 2025

BUA Group Chairman, Abdul Samad Rabiu, expressed optimism about the Nigerian economy, predicting the naira could strengthen to N1,300 per US dollar by the end of 2025. Rabiu credited this potential currency gain to bold fiscal reforms, improved market confidence, and reduced reliance on the Central Bank for foreign exchange intervention.

He commended the CBN for its evolving role in the foreign exchange market. Rabiu also highlighted the impact of government policies on food affordability and praised the administration for granting duty waivers on key food items.

His remarks reflect growing optimism among private sector leaders in Nigeria.
