Farotimi Blames Buhari, Tinubu for Nigeria's Security Crisis

Dele Farotimi, an activist lawyer, stated in an interview on the State Affair podcast with host Edmund Obilo that the administrations of former President Muhammadu Buhari and current President Bola Tinubu have allowed Fulani terrorists to gain control over Nigeria. Farotimi criticized the Nigerian state for its ineffectiveness in addressing security issues, claiming that the situation has worsened under the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He described the government as "useless" for failing to assist the police in combating the violence perpetrated by Fulani terrorists. Farotimi also mentioned that these terrorists have operated with impunity, making it impossible to negotiate peace or reach any effective decisions regarding the security crisis in the country.
