Kevin Akpoguma to Depart Hoffenheim After 13 Years

Kevin Akpoguma, a 31-year-old central defender, is set to leave Bundesliga club Hoffenheim at the end of the current season, concluding a 13-year tenure with the team. Akpoguma joined Hoffenheim from Karlsruher SC in 2013 and has spent time on loan at Fortuna Düsseldorf and Hannover 96 during his career.

This season, he has made just eight appearances for Hoffenheim. His contract is set to expire at the end of the season, and the club, referred to as "die Kraichgauer," will not offer an extension.

Akpoguma will play his last home game for Hoffenheim when they host SV Werder Bremen at the PreZero Arena this weekend.
