Celebrating 90 Years of Otunba Busura Alebiosu's Influence

Otunba Busura Alebiosu, fondly referred to as Baba Bush, recently celebrated his 90th birthday, marking a significant milestone in his influential role in Lagos politics. Known for his principles of restraint and loyalty, Baba Bush has been a constant presence in the political landscape, particularly within the Nigeria Social Democratic Party during turbulent military rule and the establishment of the Fourth Republic.

Tajudeen Olusi, Chairman of the Governor's Advisory Council, emphasized their deep bond, which transcends politics, built on trust and mutual respect over decades. Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu described Baba Bush as a stabilizing figure whose calm demeanor brings order to chaotic political meetings.

Obafemi Hamzat, the current Deputy Governor, noted Baba Bush's understanding of leadership as a balance rather than dominance. Additionally, Baba Bush's influence extends beyond politics to his family, where he instilled values of discipline and open dialogue in his son, Dayo Bush Alebiosu.
