Business Summit Group Targets $100 Billion Investment

The Business Summit Group has announced a target of over $100 billion in investment commitments at the International Investors Summit Nigeria 2026, set to take place on November 10 and 11, 2026, at the Grand Ballroom of the Abuja Continental Hotel. Dato’ Dr.

M. Haider Uzzaman, President of the Business Summit Group, revealed this during a press conference in Abuja, stating that the summit will attract international investors and business leaders from over 50 countries.

The investments will focus on critical sectors such as oil and gas, green energy, technology, healthcare, agriculture, mining, infrastructure, education, human capital development, artificial intelligence, and fintech. Uzzaman emphasized the importance of connecting international investors with Nigerian businesses and state governments seeking foreign direct investment.

He encouraged participation from medium and large-scale enterprises and highlighted that 25 Nigerian companies and state governments attended the previous summit in Bangkok, Thailand. Following that summit, Plateau State secured over $1 billion in investment commitments, partly due to Uzzaman's facilitation, which contributed to his appointment as Special Adviser on Investment to Plateau State Governor Barr.
