By-Elections: ‘I will burn your cars’ – APC Candidate, Ukachukwu Clashes with Anambra Deputy Gov [VIDEO]

The Anambra South Senatorial District by-elections turned violent as the APC candidate, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, clashed with Anambra Deputy Governor Onyekachukwu Ibezim and Commissioner of Environment Engr Felix Odumegwu. Eyewitnesses reported that the Deputy Governor was held hostage by irate youth who accused him of attempting to buy votes.

Governor Charles Soludo accused Ukachukwu of sponsoring the attack, calling it shameful and undemocratic. In a video captured during the incident, Ukachukwu was seen threatening to burn the Deputy Governor's car.

The National Publicity Secretary of APGA condemned the incident, warning that Anambra might face thuggery under Ukachukwu's leadership. Ukachukwu's aide denied the accusations, claiming that the Deputy Governor and Commissioner had stormed Ukachukwu's community with a heavily armed vigilante group.

The situation escalated, with Engr Odumegwu narrowly escaping death.
