Tinubu Congratulates APC Winners in Recent By-elections

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu congratulated the winners of the by-elections held over the weekend in five constituencies across Gombe, Kano, Bauchi, and Delta states. The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates won four of the five seats, while the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) secured one.

The successful APC candidates include Kallamu MaiJama’a for Gombe/Kwami/Funakaye Federal Constituency in Gombe State, Husseini Datti for Dawakin Kudu State Constituency in Kano State, Okolosi Ator for Udu State Constituency in Delta State, and Yakubu Ali for Disina State Constituency in Bauchi State. Adamu Yakubu of the APM won the Sakwa State Constituency seat in Bauchi State.

President Tinubu stated that these victories reflect the confidence Nigerians have in the APC's governance. He urged the winners to justify the trust placed in them and encouraged other candidates to accept the results in good faith.

He commended voters, security agencies, and the Independent National Electoral Commission for their roles in ensuring a peaceful election process.
