CAC President Critiques Leaders Over National Hardship

Pastor Samuel Oladel, the President of Christ Apostolic Church Nigeria Overseas, expressed strong criticism towards Nigerian leaders for their inability to deliver on promises related to security, power supply, and healthcare. He lamented the hardships faced by citizens, particularly the high cost of fuel, which has reached nearly N1,300.

Oladel declared a state of emergency regarding security issues, emphasizing the need for urgent action. He urged Governor Seyi Makind to ensure the safe return of abducted pupils and teachers.

In response to the nation's dire situation, Oladel announced a three-day period of prayer and fasting from June 12 to June 14, encouraging the church community to mourn and seek divine guidance. He also paid tribute to Pastor Johnson Omitind, the former financial director of the church, highlighting his character and contributions.

Oladel's statements reflect a broader concern within the church community regarding the state of the nation and the role of leadership.
