CAF Investigates Misconduct in Africa Cup of Nations Quarter-Finals

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has launched a formal investigation into alleged misconduct during the quarter-final matches of the Africa Cup of Nations held in Morocco 2025. CAF confirmed the probe following reports and video evidence of potential unacceptable behavior involving players and officials during the matches involving Cameroon, Morocco, Algeria, and Nigeria.

The investigation will focus on both on-field and technical area incidents, as well as alleged misconduct in the media mix zone. CAF emphasized its zero-tolerance policy towards inappropriate behavior and vowed to take appropriate action against any guilty parties.
