‘Call of My Life’ Surpasses ₦893 Million at Box Office

The Nollywood romantic comedy ‘Call of My Life’ has achieved a significant milestone by crossing ₦893 million at the Nigerian box office, reinforcing its position as the highest-grossing Nollywood film of 2026. This figure follows its previous earnings of ₦855 million, as announced by distributor FilmOne Entertainment on September 8, 2026.

Released on May 15, 2026, the film has shown remarkable ticket sales, particularly notable as it was released outside the traditional December period, typically a peak season for Nigerian cinema. Directed by Dammy Twitch and written by Uzoamaka Power, who also stars in the lead role, the film follows Soluchi, a hopeless romantic, and her unexpected connection with Eli, a Ghanaian news anchor.

The film features a cast including Zubby Michael, Beverly Osu, and Nkem Owoh. Produced by Blessing Uzzi under Bluhouse Studios and distributed by FilmOne Entertainment, ‘Call of My Life’ has also gained international acclaim, winning the Favourite Feature Narrative Audience Award at the 2026 BlackStar Film Festival in Philadelphia.
